How the AEMSP-Ph’s Certification Works

AEMSP-Ph Certification is an important component of public and practitioner’s protection. It provides validation competency of knowledge and practice of all levels of EMS. There are two Classification of Memberships:

1.    Individual Practitioner

2.    Training Provider

Individual Practitioners who passed the Third Party Testing are given their individual Registry Number for their professional practice. An initial membership is paid that is good for two years of practice. Renewal of membership is done every two years with refresher courses to be taken as requirement. This aims to sustain their level of knowledge and skills of the EMS Practitioner. They are also required to adhere to the Standard of Practice that the AEMSP-Ph will develop and apply with its members.

Training Providers are Certified by the AEMSP-Ph as members upon passing the review process. Membership fees are also paid and renewal is every three years. They are to adhere to the EMS Standard of Training Courses
